Security measures have been tightened across Britain as the manhunt for the suspect behind the Berlin lorry attack continues.
British police are reviewing security arrangements in the wake of Monday night's attack which left 12 people dead and dozens of people injured.
Scotland Yard said it has "detailed plans" to protect the public over the festive period.
They said: "These [plans] already recognise that the threat level is at severe, meaning an attack is highly likely, have considered a range of threats, including the use of large vehicles.
"As a matter of routine and precaution, we review our plans after attacks overseas, and we are doing so at present following the awful incident in Berlin."
