A Canadian zoo is investigating the deaths of seven Humboldt penguins, who it is believed drowned in their Penguin Plunge exhibit.
They were discovered on Thursday morning in their holding area. The veterinary team undertook autopsies to discover the cause of death.
There were 22 penguins at the zoo, along with three other species of the bird.
The zoo are looking into how the accident happened, so they can prevent it from happening again.
Earlier this year an otter also died after tangling himself in a pair of trousers given to him by one of the keepers.
