Sir Vince Cable has slammed Theresa May's Brexit deal and said his party would be voting against it again in the Commons this week.

Appearing on the breakfast show, the Liberal Democrat leader branded the Withdrawal Agreement "thoroughly bad".

"We will be voting against it. We think it's a thoroughly bad deal and we won't change our mind," Sir Vince told talkRADIO's Julia Hartley-Brewer.

"I think one thing is certain - that we're not going to go out on March 29."

A third vote on the Prime Minister's Brexit deal is expected to take place this week.

Negotiations are currently taking place to secure the support of the DUP, with chancellor Philip Hammond suggesting to the BBC's Andrew Marr that there could be a financial settlement for Northern Ireland if the party backed the deal.
