Southern Rail and Govia passengers are planning on holding a protest on Thursday at the ongoing disruption they are facing.
The Association of British Commuters will demand that the Department for Transport intervene in the industrial dispute between Southern Rail and the RMT and ASLEF unions.
Protesters will also ask for a fully independent public inquiry into Southern Rail.
Those involved will also call for the Minister for Transport Chris Grayling to resign if he does not accept accountability for the crisis.
Organisers of the protest have asked those who join in to remain peaceful and stay independent from unions, rail companies and political parties.
Passengers will meet at London Victoria station at 5:30pm and march to the Department for Transport with a letter and their demands.
