State media outlets have claimed US-led coalition airstrikes have killed at least 35 civilians in Syria.
The strike is reported to have taken place in a town in the east of the country, which is held by Islamic State.
This report appears to have been backed up by the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The body clarified how the deaths had happened, saying 26 had been killed after the strike hit a four-storey building, and nine had died in an assault on the nearby town of Mayadeen on Thursday night.
Fighting against Isis has intensified in order to maintain a steady increase of ground against the group in Syria.
