Three people have been arrested after a body was found in a park in Cornwall.

A man's body was discovered in the St Austell park next to Bridge Road, just after 5am this morning. The man has not yet been identified, ITV said.

BBC reported that three men, aged 21, 22 and 24 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are now in police custody.

A forensic examination is taking place as police await the outcome of a post-mortem, and a major crime unit is attending the scene. 

Edgecombe Road, which is near to the park, has been closed.
