One of the three passengers who got an entire British Airways flight to themselves last week joined Paul Ross to reveal what it was like to be treated like a VIP.
The flight from Gibraltar to Heathrow took off with only three passengers, as those who had arrived earlier were squeezed on to an earlier flight. This meant they were treated to business class and even took selfies in the cockpit.
Laurie-Lin Waller joined Paul Ross and told him: "It felt like VIP treatment, we were allowed into the business class lounge.
"Everything was shut [when we arrived], staff opened up duty free for us because the staff had gone on a break and they came back and opened it up for us."
Waller added that she was “probably glad it wasn’t a longer flight, because any more champagne and we’d have maybe looked a bit worse for wear."
