Police have charged three teenagers after a man was attacked on a tram platform.
All three are 15-years-old, however for legal reasons cannot be named.
They were arrested following police releasing footage of an assault where a man was kicked and stamped on repeatedly at the Metrolink station in Chadderton, Greater Manchester.
Two of the teenagers have been charged with attempted murder, assault and attempted assault, whilst the third has been charged with assault and attempted assault.
All three have been remanded in custody and set to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court today (March 27).
The 49-year-old was attacked after getting off a tram at the Freehold stop on March 8 at around 9:35pm.
A tram going in the opposite direction stopped when the driver and passengers spotted the incident and they went over to help.
The victim had serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
Yesterday (March 26) another 15-year-old was arrested and is being questioned by the police in custody.
