Theresa May may want us to believe she's strong and stable. But, as her litany of u-turns shows, she's often anything but. 

The Government's new welfare system received a degree of criticism over its phone charge of 55p-per-minute. 

This has now been scrapped by the Prime Minister in another brusing climbdown. 

As May's "weak and wobbly" critics are all too eager to point out, this is far from the first time the Tories' first lady has gone back on her word.
