US election 'embarrassing for my country', Las Vegas radio host Heidi Harris tells George Galloway

US presidential election is 'embarrassing', says US radio host Heidi Harris

Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton

Tuesday, November 8, 2016

A Las Vegas radio presenter has told George Galloway that the choice of candidates in the 2016 presidential election is "embarrassing" for her country - but said she hopes Donald Trump wins.

Heidi Harris, a radio host at AM 840 KXNT in Las Vegas, said Trump wouldn't be her first choice of candidate, but in her view, he was better than Hillary Clinton.

"I'm hoping that Donald Trump pulls it out," she told George. "He wasn't my first choice, but I like him better than her.

"I think the people who like him are being under-polled. I don't think they're being represented as well, and I think they're going to be very surprised when he becomes the next president.

"Jesus isn't running this year, so these are the choices. She wouldn't have a chance unless he's running, and he wouldn't have a chance if not for the fact that she's running.

"That's what's so crazy about this election. I'm not going to lie, it is embarrassing."
