A number of people across the globe reported a series of issues with WhatsApp on Friday morning.
The service was down for users in areas on the continent of Europe, as well as other countries like Singapore, Iran, India, Mozambique and Vietnam.
According to a website called DownDetector, a great number of people were heavily affected in the Netherlands, as well as in areas across Germany and Switzerland.
Major cities like London, Barcelona and Madrid also faced some disruption to the service.
The site has posted a map to show the locations where users might have been experiencing problems.
The issue appears to have been fixed around 9:00am GMT, but there has been no comment on the blackout from the tech company.
