After the Professional Darts Corporation decided to stop using walk-on girls to accompany players on stage, Formula 1 has followed suit, announcing that from the start of the 2018 season grid girls will no longer be used.
F1's management team said that the use of women in revealing clothes "does not resonate with our brand values and clearly is at odds with modern day societal norms."
The move has prompted a decidely mixed reaction, with some praising the decision as bold and proper, and others believing it is a gross overreaction.
