Warren Field: Kent man arrested for 'assaulting female police officer and spitting at her colleague'

A man reported to have spat in a police officer’s face has been arrested near Edenbridge.

Kent Police was called to a disturbance in Chequers Hill, Bough Beech during the early hours of Friday December 22, 2017.

Officers arrived at the location at 3.40am and after accessing the property attempted to place Warren Field under arrest.

It is alleged the suspect attempted to resist arrest and pushed an officer over, who banged her head on a table as she fell. 

The man is further alleged to have also spat in the faces and arms of police officers. 

Field, aged 27 and of Bough Beech, was taken into custody and later charged with the following offences: two charges of assaulting a police officer in the execution of their duty, obstructing or resisting a police officer in the execution of their duty, common assault and a charge of exposure.

He has been bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on January 23, 2018.
