A mass brawl broke out at a screening of the Mayweather-McGregor fight in Bury in the early hours of Sunday morning (August 27).
The incident took place at a Vue Cinema whilst the professional fight continued on screen, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Floyd Mayweather fought against Conor McGregor in a boxing match in Las Vegas which lasted for 10 rounds.
Witnesses claim the cinema fight was between two groups of men who outnumbered the security staff.
One said there were around 30 people involved and it appeared some had been drinking but there were only about three security members present.
It is thought that no-one was seriously hurt in the fight.
A spokesperson for Vue said: “Cinemas had increased security, strict access policies and procedures and strict alcohol policies in place.
"We can confirm there was one incident which took place. The safety and security of our staff and customers remains our top priority at all times."
