A woman is reported to have died after becoming infected with a flesh-eating bacteria during flooding caused by Storm Harvey in Texas.
Nancy Reed suffered a fall in a flooded house in Houston during the hurricane.
She broke her arm and sustained cuts in the incident, and by coming into contact with floodwaters, the bacteria - called necrotising fasciitis - was able to enter her body.
The 77-year-old has reportedly died from the illness.
The Houston Health Department said Reed was the only known case of the illness in Houston, but media reports have said there was a non-fatal case in a nearby location.
Harvey was one of the first major storms to make landfall in the US in the 2017 hurricane season.
