A football coach has been arrested for the alleged sexual abuse of three minors he contacted through social media.

The man trains a women's football team in Castellon, Spain where teams of under 18s also play, however it is thought they are not victims of the man.

It is claimed that after the coach contacted minors through Instagram and Facebook he performed sex acts with them and money was exchanged, according to Las Provincias.

The alleged sexual abuse took place in the 32-year-old's car and reports suggest the man filmed some of the abuse on his phone.

Whilst only three alleged victims have spoken out at present, police believe the man may have abused others who are underage and officers are searching for potential victims.

It is thought that statements will be collected from more young people before the court case gets underway.

The coach has been charged with the corruption of minors and possessing child pornography.
