Bob Mills was in the hot-seat for the Jon Holmes show on Monday while our regular afternoon host was away enjoying his bank holiday.
But just because Jon wasn't here, that didn't mean we couldn't nick his ideas!
So Bob invited the work experience kid into the studio to share the airwaves, which meant James popped in take a look at what has been going on in the world of TV.
X Factor began again on Saturday, but unfortunately viewing ratings for the first episode hit a 1ten-year low. Bob revealed his favourite part of the series has always been relatives storming into the audition room to complain when contestants haven't been put through.
BBC's Ripper Street has also recently returned to out screens, and is set in Whitechapel six months or so after the Jack the Ripper murders. Apparently, it's very typical for TV shows to combine police drama and history, according to Bob.
