Great Britain's Olympic victory parade promises to be a euphoric outpouring of national pride, with so much gold on display that Kanye West would probably roll his eyes in amazement.

The parade will be held in Manchester, following the conclusion of the Paralympic Games. It is likely to dwarf any previous sporting celebration in this country, even the football and rugby world cup triumphs in 1966 and 2003 respectively.

But given GB's haul of almost 70 medals, with more to come from the Paralympics, the organisers have a fiendishly tough decision to make: who will take centre-stage? Who will be the darling of this year's parade, the Jessica Ennis of 2016?
