Breakfast presenter Julia Hartley-Brewer gives her thoughts on why Theresa May should resign as Prime Minister after her Brexit deal was rejected by MPs. These are her views and not talkRADIO's.
We have just 16 days to go until the date we were expected to leave the EU, so how did we get to this place?
We can blame the intransigence and the arrogance of the European Union and the deliberate tactic of 'remoaners' to undermine the British negotiating position at every point. We can blame the civil service for doing everything to keep in with the EU establishment, but fundamentally the blame lies with just one woman. Our Prime Minister Theresa May.
From her doomed general election campaign and her abject refusal to hold firm in negotiations with Brussels, to her willingness to allow remainers in her own cabinet to dictate her policy, she has been an abject failure.

She has lost not just last night's vote, not just her voice, but all of her credibility as well. She is today in office, but not in power.
She cannot command a majority in the House of Commons. She cannot even command a majority in her own cabinet.
Yesterday, she lost a vote on what was the worst deal in history. Today, the woman who said she would deliver Brexit on March 29, 2019 is going to vote against her own manifesto policy that no-deal is better than a bad deal.
'Deluded, dishonest and incompetent'

It is time for Theresa May to go. She is deluded, she is dishonest and she is incompetent.
Theresa May, you have done enough damage to yourself, to your reputation, to our country and to our democracy.
There is a good deal to be had in our EU negotiations but Theresa May is not the Prime Minister to get it. If we are going to have a no-deal Brexit Theresa May is not the Prime MInister to deliver it.
It's not just time for the infamous Tory men in grey suits to pay her a visit in Number 10, this is a Prime Minister sho is so deluded that it is time for the men in white coats.
